We also visit the waterfalls and caves and go for boating on the Phewa lake.Lumbini drive along a very scenic highway via Tansen, a hill station overlooking the plains of Terai.This drive passes through green hills, dense forests, river valleys and beautiful contryside and finally reaches the tropical plains of Terai in Lumbini.Lumbini is the birth place of the Buddha, founder of Buddhism. Obviously the place is of great religious importance. The main highlights here are the birth stone to mark actual birth place of Buddha and the Ashoka pillar put there some 2300 yrs before by the Indian Emperor Ashoka in his campaign to mark all the important sites related to Buddha's life.Then we drive to Chitwan national park through the plains of Terai.In Chitwan we enjoy elephant back safari, canoe ride, elephant breeding centre visit, birdwatching, etc and see wild animals like rhinos, peacocks, crocodiles, deers etc.Last day at Kathmandu we celebrate your trip experince with farewell Nepali dinner at Banchha Ghar.

Banchha Ghar : a trip to this restaurant is a must. Housed in a building that is nearly 100 years old off the main Darbar Marg, Banchha Ghar preserves the traditional Newari food in its authenticity. Newaris were the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley.

The must haves there are Sukuti (spicy, dried deer meat) and the wild boar dish(slices, served with an array of spices,They seat you on the floor (on soft cushions) with low tables, with shoes off,The highlight is a half hour cultural dance program performed by able dancers, The dances encapsulate the colorful heritage of various backgrounds of Nepal – the Sherpas, the Gorkhas, and the Newaris etc. they also perform the auspicious welcome ‘tikka‘ and also serve you ‘Rakshi‘ – a home made rice-wine that is to be had in one gulp (like the Tequila shot) but served in miniature earthern ware dish.The dinner served in old-fashioned thick copper plates and cups, and consists of some sumptuous local cuisines.

Day 01 :ARRIVE KATHMANDU

Arrive in Kathmandu and meet our representative at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 :KATHMANDU

After Breakfast in the hotel enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. We will visit the important historical and cultural attractions of the Valley. See the center of the old city of Kathmandu. The palace of the medival Malla kings "Hanuman Dhoka" and the temple dedicated to the living goddess "Kumari" are the highlights.and the "Nyatapola Temple" the valley's tallest temple. Swayambhunath stupa built in 250 BC,Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 :KATHMANDU – CHITWAN

After breakfast, enjoy the scenic drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the best preserved of the nationals parks in Asia, habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger and the One-horned Indian Rhinoceros. Check into the Jungle Resort and Proceed for a wide range of safari activities - elephant ride, jungle walks, and canoe ride in pursuit of myriad flora and fauna. In the evening you are entertained by cultural programmes and a bonfire during winter.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 : CHITWAN

We continue on our wildlife pursuits today in the company and guidance of qualified naturalists. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 : CHITWAN –POKHARA

After breakfast we drive to Pokhra, the picturesque mountain town located in the lap of the mighty Annapurna mountain range. Check-in at the hotel.drive further 15 km to Begnas lake and have a Boat ride on the lake. The Begnas lake is the biggest lake in the Pokhara valley with beautiful surrounding. Here you can have a walk and see the life in the villages of Himalayas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 : POKHARA

Early morning drive and hike to Sarangkot to see Sunrise. Drive back to hotel for breakfast and after breakfast.You visit the following: Bindebasini Temple, Saiti George and Mahendra Caves.You can spend time and explore the city.Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 : POKHARA – KATHMANDU

Today you will leave Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu 200 kms.The afternoon is at leisure. You will have enough time today to discover the coloured bazaar of Kathmandu and Thamel Market in the evening.

Day 08 : KATHMANDU

Today you will drive to Patan. the capital city of Malla dynasty with many beautiful monuments built between 15th and 17th century, Patan was the second largest town in the valley but it has been absorbed into Kathmandu. Patan was previously known as Lalitpur (the beautiful city). After Patan you will proceed to Bhaktapur, the third biggest city of the valley. Bhaktapur has preserved its medieval character better than Patan. Here, you will visit the golden door, the Palace of 55 windows (15th century) and Pagoda Nyatapola (18th century).Evening Farewell Dinner at Banchha Ghar.Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 09 : KATHMANDU – DELHI

In the afternoon transfer to the Airport for the flight to Delhi. After arrival in New Delhi Airport you can catch flight to home destination.
