Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted by Countrywide Tours and Travels representative who will assist you to transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi – Haridwar. (220 Kms)

Haridwar is an important pilgrimage city and municipality in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal India. The River Ganga, after flowing for 253 kilometres (157 mi) from its source at Gaumukh at the edge of the Gangotri Glacier, enters the Indo-Gangetic Plains of North India for the first time at Haridwar,which gave the city its ancient name, Gangadwára.Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. tourists congregate in Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the river Ganga to wash away their sins to attain Moksha. Har ki Pauri is considered to be the most sacred ghat of Haridwar.Haridwar is the headquarters and the largest city of the district.

Day 03 : Haridwar - Rishikesh. (30 Kms)

The Uttaranchal region of North India is speckled with some of the holiest of Hindu pilgrimage sites and Rishikesh is one such major attractions. It is the birth place of yoga is now the Hatha Yoga Capital of the World,.Located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it, thousands of tourists every year, who come to seek mental peace in the midst of the humdrum of modern life. pace in Rishikesh is much more mellow than Delhi, and you will enjoy walking about town undisturbed by touts and hawkers The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation.

Day 05 : Rishikesh – Rudraprayag.(140 Kms)

Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, at a distance of 34 kms. from Srinagar(Garhwal). The meeting of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers has a unique beauty of its own and it seems as if two sisters were embracing each other. The entire region is blessed with immense natural beauty, place of religious importance.

Day 06 : Rudraprayag – Ukhimath - Chopta.(80 Kms)

Chopta is a picturesque hamlet which is still unexplored by travelers. Chopta is the commencement point of the trek to Tungnath which offers a splendid view of snow clad Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul and Chaukhamba stretched widely. Chopta itself offers splendid views It is located at an elevation of 2680mts above sea level. Chopta is rich in varied flora and fauna. Chopta is situated amidst thick forest of pine, deodar and rhododendrons. Wake up with cool salubrious breeze and chirping of birds in Chopta. The morning view from Chopta is invigorating when the crimson rays of sun kisses the snow laden Himalayas. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel / Camp.

Day 07 : Chopta – Tungnath - Chopta.

Early Morning start the trek of 3.5kms to reach 1,000 yr. old Tungnath temple. Go further up half a kilometer to almost 13,000ft for the most breathtaking view of the high Himalayas from Chandrashila Peak. Come down to Chopta in Evening. overnight at Chopta Hotel / Camp.


Tungnath (3680 m) ,the highest temple ,surrounded by picturesque mountains , Nanda devi,Neelkanth,Kedrantha peaks.Tungnath is reached by passing through villages,fields and wooded hills before reaching meadows with Rhododendrons.

Day 08 : Chopta - Josimath.(120 Kms)

A popular centre of pilgrimage, It is also the base for trekking to the famous Valley Of Flowers. The season here is short lived: it starts from mid-July and lasts till end-August. situated in a most beautiful area of the high Himalayas. The sky is deep blue, the snow-capped peaks are so close you can almost touch them. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 09 : Josimath - Badrinath.(20 Kms)

Badrinath one of the 'Four Dhams' is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 : Badrinath – Mana Village - Badrinath.

Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara : As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11 : Badrinath - Auli.(56 Kms)

Auli is the most popular skiing destination of Uttaranchal state. Auli is situated in Chamoli district of Garhwal region covering elevation from 2,519mts to 3,050mts above sea level. Auli is a 'bugyal' which means meadow in the regional language. Auli is often compared with best ski resorts of the world y foreigners. Auli is blessed with invigorating views of the splendid mountain range, Himalayas. The slopes of Auli provide enough thrills to professional skier and novice as well. Auli Ropeway: Auli boasts the Asia's highest and longest cable car covering a distance of 4km. This cable car wonder is named as Gondola. It also has a Chair Lift and a Ski-Lift. The ropeway of Auli connects Auli with Joshimath and it would take 15-20 minutes to reach Auli from Joshimath. Day 12 : Auli – Chamoli - Karnaprayag.(110 Kms)

Morning drive to Karnaprayag, a city in Chamoli District in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Karanprayag is one of the Panch Prayag of Alaknanda River, situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda, and Pindar River. It is said that Karna of Mahabharata meditated here for many years to acquire the impregnable shield, which made him a formidable warrior in the battlefield. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 13 : Karnaprayag - Kausani.(120 Kms)

Kausani is picture-postcard perfect. So much so that it is often called the 'Switzerland of India'! Set at an altitude of 6075 ft above the sea level, Kausani is set atop a ridge amidst thick coniferous woods, overlooking the beautiful Someshwar and Gaur valleys on its either side. While the charms of this pretty Himalayan hill-stations are many, it is much popular amongst tourists and travellers for the stunning views of the lofty snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Day 15 : Kausani - Chaukori.(70 Kms)

Chaukori a small Hamlet situated in Pithoragarh Distt of Uttarakhand, famous for the tea Garden eastablished by britishers and view of Himalayas snow clad ranges some of the massive peaks with a view at 175 degrees are trishul, nandadevi, maiktoli, nandakot and panchchuli. Day 16 : Chaukori –Patal Bhuvneshwar - Chaukori.

Visit to Patalbhuvneshwar near Chaukori. Another exciting place to visit while on a visit to Kausani is Patal Bhubhaneshwara, just 30 km away. The sacred temple is aptly named as it takes 200 steps to visit the underground temple through a narrow tunnel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 17 : Chaukori - Pithoragarh.

Pithoragarh is a small town, which gives its name to the district. It lies in the centre of the western half of the Soar Valley which resembles the Kashmir valley on a miniature scale. It is prettily dotted with villages, generally placed on eminences. The view from some of the higher altitudes in Pithoragarh captures the snow-capped peaks of Panch Chulhi, Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot. The town is set in a valley popularly known as "Soar" (root meaning is Cool) and lies in the centre of four hills Chandak, Dhwaj, Kumdar and Thal Kedar, and stretches in the southern flank to Jhulaghat demarcated by the Kali river adjoining the barren peaks of Nepal Hills. Pithoragarh, is known as the gateway to the Himalaya's from the north, as pilgrims trek through this town to the Kailash Lake Manasarovar and Om Parvat. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

Askot Sanctuary: The scenic sanctuary 54 km from Pithoragarh nestles at a height of 5412 ft. in Kumaon Himalayas and is popular among wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is a safe haven for snow leopards, Himalayan black bears, musk deers, snow cocks, tahra, bharals, mona/s, chirs, koklas, pheasants and chukors. The lush sanctuary area dotted with temples is also a fine place to view the beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 18 : Pithoragarh – Abbott Mount.(75 Kms)

At an altitude of 7000 feet, there lies the tiny hamlet of Abbott Mount from where one could witness the snowcapped cliffs of the mighty Himalayas in its full glory. This momentous hilly resort on the eastern side of the Kumaon Hills unravels a passable vision of the massive peaks from the Gangotri cliff to Dhaulagiri range. Day 21 : Almora -Ranikhet.(50 kms)

Ranikhet gets its name, which mean Queen's meadow in English, from a legend that an Indian queen visited the site and built herself a palace here, though no palace exists in the area. In 1869, the British established the headquarters of the Kumaon regiment here and used the station as a retreat from the heat of the Indian summer. Nainital is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and headquarters of Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of 1,938 metres (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference, and surrounded by mountains, of which the highest are Naina (2,615 m (8,579 ft)) on the north, Deopatha (2,438 m (7,999 ft)) on the west, and Ayarpatha (2,278 m (7,474 ft) on the south. Day 25 : Nainital – Jim Corbett National Park.(60 Kms)

Corbett park,named after the hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment-is the oldest national park in India. The park was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park. Situated in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, the park acts as a protected area for the critically endangered Bengal tiger of India, the secure survival of which is the main objective of Project Tiger, an Indian wildlife protection initiative.
